Day 1: Wednesday: Athens
Upon arrival in Athens you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Balance of the day at leisure.
Day 2: Thursday: Athens
After breakfast, you will be picked up from the hotel, and you will be led to a guided sightseeing tour to the House of Parliament, the Unknown Soldier's Tomb, Hadrian's Arch, the Olympian Zeus Temple, the Panathenaic Stadium, the Academy, the University and the National Library. Balance of the day at leisure.
Day 3: Friday: Athens / Mykonos
In the morning, transfer to the port of Pireaus and embark in the Cruise of 3 nights to the Greek Islands and Turkey. First stop at Mykonos. Enjoy a free day to meet the beautiful and cosmopolitan island of Mykonos.
Day 4: Saturday: Kusadasi (turkey) / Patmos
In the early morning, the ship arrives at the port of Kusadasi on the Turkish coast. An optional excursion to the ancient city of Ephesus is available. During lunch, the ship sails toward the island of Patmos, used as a place of exile during Roman times. According to the Book of Revelation, this is where the Apostle John was exiled. There is an optional tour to visit the Convent and the Cave where St. John received the revelation to write the book.
Day 5: Sunday: Heraklion (crete) / Santorini
In the morning, disembark at the Cretan port of Heraklion for an optional tour of the Palace of Knossos, the center of Minoan Civilization. After lunch, the ship sails to the most beautiful island in the Aegean: Santorini. The town of Fira, with its white houses, narrow streets, and clifftop cafes, is accessible by car, cable car, or donkey. Due to archaeological findings, it is believed that Santorini could be the lost city of Atlantis.
Day 6: Monday: Athens / Airport / Tel Aviv
Arrival at the port of Piraeus and. Transfer to the airport and board on your flight to Tel Aviv. Arrival at Ben-Gurion airport, reception and transfer to your chosen hotel.
Day 7: Tuesday: Tel-aviv / Caesarea / Haifa / Acre / Galilee
Begin of your biblical tour with a panoramic view of the towns of Tel Aviv and Jaffa, including the artist's quarter and the Church of St. Peter in Jaffa. Follow to Caesarea to visit the ancient Roman theater. Then, the agitated city of Haifa over the Mount Carmelo. Then enjoy the view of the Temple Behai as well as the Carmelite Monastery of Stella Maris. Continue to Saint John of Acre over the Western Galilee to the hotel. Overnight in kibbutz hotel in the Galilee or in Tiberias.
Day 8: Wednesday: Tiberias / Nazareth / Galilee
Departure to the Mount of Beatitudes, site of the Sermon on the Mount, then follows direction Tabgha, place where took the miracle of the Multiplication of Loaves and Fishes. Contour of the Lake of Tiberias to Capernaum to visit the ancient synagogue and the new church of St. Francis. Visit Nazareth, including the Basilica of the Annunciation, the Fountain of Mary and the Woodworking of St. Joseph. On returning to the hotel, visit Canaan. Overnight in hotel kibbutz in the Galilee or Tiberias
Day 9: Thursday: Galilee / Jerusalem
Departure for the Jordan River, follow to the ancient Philistine city of Beth She'an, one of the ten cities of the Decapolis, visit the excavations. In the afternoon, cross the desert of Judea by the old road to Jerusalem. Return to the hotel.
Day 10: Friday: Jerusalem / Bethlehem
In the morning, visit the New City of Jerusalem, including the Knesset and Menorah. Visit to the Holocaust Museum and the Museum of Israel. Visit to the birthplace of St. John the Baptist, Ein Karem. In the afternoon, visit to Bethlehem, the Basilica of the Nativity and the church of Santa Catalina. Return to hotel.
Day 11: Saturday: Jerusalem (old City)
Via the Armenian Quarter enter The Western Wall or Wailing Wall, (opportunity to appreciate the rites of the Jewish Sabbath) and then follow via the local Bazaar to the Christian Quarter, pass trough the Stations of the Cross (Via Dolorosa) and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre (the site of the crucifixion). Ascend to Mt. Zion, visit the Basilica of the Dormition, King David's tomb and the Hall of The Last Supper.
From the Mount of Olives enjoy a panoramic overview of Jerusalem, to the Temple Mount and the Esplanade of the old city. Travel along the Kidron Valley to view the Garden of Gethsemane and the walls of the city, visit the Church of All Nations. Return to the hotel.
Day 12: Sunday: Jerusalem
Free day in Jerusalem, there is a tour (optional) to the Dead Sea and Masada.
Day 13: Monday: Jerusalem
At the according time, transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
