With a rich religious culture dating back to the Byzantine era, the settlement boasts some remarkable churches like that of Saint Tryphon. This is where the heart of the village lies, along with the central square. Among the best attractions in the village, travelers are encouraged to visit the Folklore Museum and the local library, the old school and of course wander through the picturesque neighborhoods.

In the wider region, you will find monasteries and smooth access to Mainalo Ski Resort and other villages worth exploring. Dimitsana and Stemnitsa, Elati and Alonistaina are few, just to get an idea of the beauty and unique location of Vitina. And since Greek mainland is filled with natural gems and treasures waiting to reveal their grandeur, you are more than welcome to indulge in hiking tours and sports outdoors. Vitina

A small secret, for those lucky ones that are about to visit Vitina… Take some time and walk along the “Road of Love”, a little further away from the village. Ask any local and they will show you. This is an incredible experience, walking on a path surrounded by tall trees. In autumn, orange leaves create an amazing atmosphere – but any time of the year, this is a marvelous place. And it is where young girls and boys from the village used to meet and possible light up a fire of emotions. Even non-romancers will appreciate the scenic route, for sure!
