Dimitsana is a picturesque mountainous village of Arcadia, at an altitude of 960 meters from sea level on Mount Mainalo. It is worth mentioning that Dimitsana has been the center of gunpowder production. This is where ammunitions were made, fueling the other regions in their battle for freedom.
