It is found on the southern part of the island and features golden sand and azure waters. It can be reached on foot from the port, in about 20 minutes. Tamarisk trees offer the sweetest shade and protection against the sun. Nearby, you can find rooms to let and a few fish taverns. Then, for those seeking a beach really close to the port, Agios Nikolaos is just the place to be. In fact, this is the name of the island&#8217;s main port and the beach is sandy, with a few options for coffee and drinks within short distance. This is a remote little cove on the southern part of the island, just like Katsouni beach. Isolated yet mesmerizing, they should be added to your &#8220;must-see&#8221; list. And for those that enjoy a good camping site, Roukounas beach definitely ranks at the top. This is one of the largest beaches on the island and there is also a place for nudists to indulge in swimming.
