On site you can also engage in fun water sports, while there are some truly marvelous fish taverns on the waterfront. Then, there is the famous Agios Prokopios beach. A long and sandy beach that stretches for over a mile and provides the ultimate retreat. Although the beach is organized with sunbeds and umbrellas, water sports facilities and bars, this does not mean that there are not isolated spots for those preferring to relax and enjoy the idyllic scenery.<\/p>\n

Plaka and Agia Anna also rank among the finest Naxos beaches to visit, once you are on the island. Plaka boasts its crystalline waters and chic parasols, with Agia Anna being on the same coastline along with Agios Prokopios. There is a small fishing port at Agia Anna, alongside some truly fabulous rocky formations that will capture your attention. Agia Anna is a fishing resort, so you should try the fish and seafood while you visit the place.<\/p>\n
