As for the wineries where it is produced, along with some other truly magnificent options for wine connoisseurs, Boutari Winery is definitely the most popular place to be in the region. Ioannis Boutaris established the estate back in 1879 and now the company has spread to five other regions in Greece. Other wineries in Naoussa feature Domaine Foundi, Kir-Yianni Winery and Vaeni, with Elinos completing the list.<\/p>\n

In the fully renovated neoclassical building of Ioannis Boutaris, one of the pioneers in wine making for the entire region, you will also find a Museum of Wine and Vine. A press and several barrels, traditional items used to produce wine, funnels and corks are just few of the things that will catch your eye, while visiting the museum. And it is worth mentioning that within the museum you can also see tsipouro vases, highlighting the importance of another delicious signature Greek spirit produced in the area.<\/p>\n
