Either a solo feline or a coloful colony of cats will catch the attention of your photographic lens in Athens, the Greek countryside or on an island.\u00a0 If you love cats, as I do, do not be afraid to pet or feed them; they will reward you with a cuddle. Now if you are not really fond of cats, you do not need to worry either; they will not approach you unless you call\u00a0 them.<\/p>\n
Depending on the part of the world your come from, you may or may not be surprised of the phenomenon of stray cats. Some travelers find it absolutely normal, while others are surprised or sometimes even concerned by it. In case you worry about the welfare of the stray cats in Greece, let me underline here that the majority of their population has a good life. Thanks to local authorities and the great work of animal welfare societies and residents, the Greek cats are regularly feed and taken care after, whilst continuing their lives outdoors.<\/p>\n
