Even though it is the actual port of Folegandros, Karavostasis is super-clean and calm. Its name means \u201cThe place where boats take rest\u201d. So you can see why it is so calm and serene. The waters are exceptional, while the beach is sandy with soft pebbles. The seabed is also sandy and it is a great beach for kids and adults alike.<\/p>\n

Since it is protected from the winds, the beach is family friendly. However, there are no facilities for you to enjoy. You will find no beach bars, umbrellas and sun loungers to use. So make sure that you have everything you need with you. Take water and food with you, so as to enjoy the beach for a long time without any discomfort.<\/p>\n

Just 3.5 kilometers from Chora, it is a beach that combines smooth connectivity along with tranquil charms and amazing beauty.
