NJV Athens Plaza, located in the heart of\u00a0Athens, recently received the \u201cWe do local\u201d certification, after\u00a0successfully adopting the initiative\u2019s proposed standards to better promote local\u00a0hospitality and culture.<\/p>\n
According to an announcement, the hotel was certified for supporting local producers and the economy and for\u00a0actively contributing to the protection of the environment and the promotion of sustainable development. The certification\u00a0is also indicative of the hotel\u2019s\u00a0efforts to meet the expectations of its guests and partners.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe do local\u201d is a project first launched by local entrepreneurs on the island of Crete, in cooperation with the certification control body Cosmocert and Local Food Experts.\u00a0The initiative has expanded to other locations in Greece and today counts 28 certified members. In Athens it is\u00a0promoted in collaboration with the\u00a0Athens-Attica & Argosaronic Hotel Association.<\/p>\n
