The black pebbles blend most wonderfully with the turquoise waters and the azure horizon with the white clouds, creating a sight for sore eyes. Sometimes you may hear locals call this place the Volcano Beach and it is found in Emporios.
Just 4 kilometers from Chios Town, Vrontados beach is another exquisite option for those in love with crystalline waters. Tall pine trees offer their generous shade and the beach is partly organized. This means that you are able to find some spots with sun loungers and umbrellas, as well as food and drink throughout the day. Fish taverns are the best, lining up along the shore! And moving forward with the best Chios beaches, Karfas is found on one of the largest resorts on the island.
