Kinsterna ;one of the most beautiful hotels experience in Greece!
A 13th century manor house in the hills near Monemvasia turned into a luxurious spa hotel with a great swimming pool and a restaurant serving refined Greek cuisine.
The manor is situated amongst a seaside estate covered in olive and citrus groves as well as one of kind variety of herbs. The first impression once one arrives at Kinsterna is the fragrance of the air. Infused with the aromas of nature and the sound of the sea, one enters relation mode immediately.
The main building is an immaculately restored 13th century manor with its historical character is celebrated in every detail, and jazzed up by some striking modern elements in the interior design. Spring water snakes through the property, into the partially covered old cistern in the central terrace, and on towards two long L-shaped swimming pools surrounded by fruit trees.

With three-dimensional lace stencilling on the walls, each one of the luxury rooms, suites, residences and even villas impresses in its own way.

In the oldest parts of the Kinsterna property, cosy “Byzantine” suites have dome-shaped ceilings. Others have unique features: an original Ottoman fireplace in one, the old dungeon (!) in another.
Newly added residences have the charm of the old with a few modern twists. I stayed in an impressive ground floor suite looking out over the hills, the sea and of a private garden filled with fresh fruit trees and herbs. I slept in an incredibly comfortable bed and showered in a luxurious marble bathroom. The room had all the amenities you can think of. From a ice mask inside the mini bar to a flashlight, luxurious toiletries and even an espresso machine. They also had a complementary bottle of house-made liquor for their production with the signature of the chef.
