You can access the beach on foot quite easily and there are sunbeds, along with parasols and cafés by the beach to accommodate you. The beach never gets too crowded, so you should not worry about missing out on the island’s tranquility.
Chalki beaches also feature Kania. This is the second most popular beach on the island, easily accessible from Nimborio within less than a mile on foot. In short distance from Potamos beach, it offers you the chance to combine your diving explorations of the day. Here you will also find some parasols and sun loungers, as well as a canteen for ice cold drinks and snacks. Yet, the scenery is purely breathtaking and resembles fierce nature’s bliss.
A trekking path starting at Nimborio will take you to Ftenagia beach, an unspoiled gem on the island. The beach is made of soft pebbles and the environment there is almost mystical. Transparent waters and a rich sea bed, in a cute cove that welcomes you to cherish. And then, there is Yali tiny beach surrounded by enormous cliffs that create a marvelous atmosphere.
