Enjoy a tour of the city including the Parthenon, Constitution Square and the Panathenaic Stadium, the place from where the Olympic flame starts its journey to the cities of the Olympic Games.
Set sail to spend your days in the cosmopolitan jet-set island of Mykonos with the glamorous Matogianni Street, the old port, "Little Venice", the castle and Panayia Paraportiani, a complex of five churches.
From Mykonos cruise away to Kusadasi with the exquisite ancient city of Ephesus, the sacred Patmos that inspired St. John the Divine to write the context of the last book in the New Testament "Apocalypse", Knossos Palace the center of the Minoan civilization in Crete and Santorini, legend of the lost city of Atlantis, formed as a result of an underwater volcano eruption that offers stunning sunsets and picturesque sugar cubed buildings.
Day 1: Monday: Athens
Upon arrival in Athens you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Balance of the day at leisure.
Day 2: Tuesday: Athens
After breakfast, you will be picked up from the hotel, and you will be led to a guided Athens sightseeing tour to the House of Parliament, the Unknown Soldier's Tomb, Hadrian's Arch, the Olympian Zeus Temple, the Panathenaic Stadium, the Academy, the University and the National Library. Balance of the day at leisure.
Day 3: Wednesday: Athens / Mykonos
Morning transfer to Lavrio port to embark the ferry to Mykonos island. Arrival and transfer to your selected hotel.
Day 4: Thursday: Mykonos
Free day in Mykonos, to enjoy the marvelous beaches of the island and its famous nightlife.
Day 5: Friday: Mykonos
Free morning in Mykonos. In the afternoon transfer to the port to embark the cruise ship for the 3-night cruise to the Greek islands and Turkey.
Day 6: Saturday: Kusadasi (turkey) / Patmos
Next port of call is the Turkish port of Kusadasi with the option to visit Ephesus, one of the most complete ancient cities ever excavated. Then on to the island of Patmos, where participating in the optional tour, you will have the opportunity to visit the Monastery and the Grotto of St. John where he lived and wrote the book of the Revelation.
Day 7: Sunday: Heraklion (crete) / Santorini
Then we visit the Cretan port of Heraklion. Don't miss the opportunity to participate in the optional tour to the Knossos Palace, the center of the Minoan Civilization. Departure to Crete and arrival in Santorini island in the afternoon, the island which is said to be the lost continent of the Atlantis.
Day 8: Monday: Athens / Airport
The cruise ship will arrive at Lavrio port early in the morning. Disembarkation after breakfast and transfer to the airport for your flight back.
